Raining. Finally, thought Garou tiresomely. The summer heat had been unbearable to him in many ways and somehow the rain brought comfort to him. It seemed to help clear his head seeing the rain fall, and he needed all the help he can. Sometimes he felt like he had absolutely noone to talk with and his mind became cluttered with so many thoughts, so many worries.

Why was that fox creature here? Where did Kit run off to? Who the hell knew he could write? Did Freya knew more than she lead on? What exactly was Twix? Why can't he stop thinking? He thought and thought and thought until he couldn't think anymore... But yet the rain...



...It seemed to make everything anew.



Evan: ...Pickle? Are you okay?

Garou: ...Oh... yeah, just kinda blanking out.

Meh, how was he really to articulate any of his thoughts into actual words? It's harder than it seems. Garou blinked slightly as Evan just smiled. What was inside that curly haired guy's head anywho?



Evan, sitting down: Garry Pickle... Garou.... I... I'm sorry if I made you upset or something about Nobu-kun but... You and him are my friends and I like to think you two can be friends...

Garou: I like to think I'm slightly more than a friend to you.

Garou stuck out his bottom lip, a habit he always had since he was a little brat. He simply hated doing it, but he couldn't help himself when he was this angry about something.



Evan: You are, you are. You mean a heck lot more to me than some, but Nobu is a really sweet guy and I think he has a lot of baggage that I don't think he's willing to share yet. I mean, he's been really nice and you should see him with Twix. It's adorable and I don't think we should freeze him out.

Garou didn't say anything.

Evan: Can you do it for me Pickle?

Garou just looked at Evan and urgh, those green eyes. Those damn, adorable, sweet green eyes that made him melt! Guh, it was hard to stay angry when you had your innards simply quiver and melt away.



Garou pulled Evan close to his chest. Evan nuzzled into his chest and smiled.

Garou: I can't promise anything... But I'll... I'll try to try.

Yes, he was noncommital.

Nobu laid around lazily. It was a quiet day. That boy, that kawaii boy, Evan had disappeared somewhere to that kemonomimi... That wolf creature... So he was just speaking to, as Evan sama named him, Twix...

Twix: Nobu-sama, you seem to be thinking of that Usagimimi... That Kit... as he so deceptively names himself...

Nobu: And you seem intent on marring him as not being that potenial one...



Twix: But Master! As one who pointed you in this location, I might like to remind you of my vast, vast, VAST knowledge that I gained since my creation...

Nobu: And as your master, I am choosing to ignore your warnings.

Twix: You were stubborn as your mother...

Nobu: Was it not because you are here for me, but because my mother asked for it?



Twix: There are many a thing I would do for her without question...



Nobu: And here I thought you said love was only for foolish humans that need to spawn to continue their hateful race.

Twix: And I stand by that. I am only aiding you due to your heritage and weakness.



Nobu: Let's not speak of my father, for he is dead and buried.

Twix: At least that Kit creature isn't here any longer.



Nobu: I am very sure he will return.

Twix: All he left is a note and the words of a toaster.

Nobu: Freya is more than a mere toaster.



Twix: Toaster, android, computer, it's all the same. Technology is choking our resources. Destroying our lands. Turning simple human minds to trash. Laying waste to everything good and pure. How the magic of the world has been choked out until the very corners of this hovel because of technology. Making the need for guardians so redundant.

Nobu: But technology eases the human's existance on Earth, does it not?

Twix: Being forced into into your fox form for many decades doesn't benefit you except for being disected by those hideous 'scientists'.

Nobu: But that's behind us now. It is...

Twix: Speaking of behind us...

And another sporadic update from me.

First off, it's Autumn, but I'm insanely happy because I love cold weather. It is very refreshing and awesome...

And here Garou and Evan's dynamic is shown a bit more. Garou is all negative and cynical about everything, but Evan does seem to be good at trying to see the positive.

Nobu and Twix's past is a bit more fleshed out here as it shows Twix's aversion to technology and anything modern. Including Freya, the least most organic being in the place.
